The Empowerment Factory (TEF) is dedicated to giving children the skills they need to lead happier, healthier lives. Our project-based learning approach focuses on three areas of development: creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride. Our vision is for every child to have the confidence to effectively express themselves and be actively and positively engaged in our communities.
The main focus of The Empowerment Factory is empowering youth through afterschool, summertime programming and special events. We partner with schools and organizations to deliver activities that help children and teens develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life.
The Empowerment Factory was founded as a nonprofit organization in April of 2014 and became a federally recognized 501(c)3 as of August 2016.
We welcome your involvement and support. You can give your resources, volunteer your time and advocate as we work together to build a better world. We are seeking volunteers, donations and grants to fund curriculum, planning, staffing, materials and other needs.
